Theun, I can see that I am not really frightened of conflict as I used to believe, but instead I fear being wrong. How do I work with this?

You are correct in your observation. You are NOT afraid of conflict, but you ARE afraid of being WRONG! Why? Mainly, my dear friend, because of feeling SORRY for yourself for being wrong, or for having missed the plot, or for not having listened, or for whatever other REASON! And I mean REASON, for in listening to your REASON you MISS what your HEART is trying to tell you! But is this not being afraid of the INNER CONFLICT involved in FACING and WORKING WITH your shortcoming, Self-Pity?

Can you now see why I sometimes call you DAFT? :) You are so utterly heartfelt in working with the teachings, but you REFUSE to OWN your ticket to freedom! Instead you just WISH that the whole sorry goddamned saga concerning being unfortunate enough to have ANY shortcoming, let alone Self-Pity, was already sorted, dusted and forgotten! LOL! Quite frankly, I call this arrogance, the flip-side of self-pity!
