Question:

Theun, I would like to learn more about Toltec numerology. Where is a good place to start?

Answer:

:) When we notate the letters of the alphabet we do so by first writing out the numbers 1 to 9 in a HORIZONTAL row, grouping them into 3 sets of three numbers.

Then we draw a line underneath the numbers.

Underneath these numbers we write out the letters of the alphabet in 3 HORIZONTAL rows, one underneath the other.

Now ask yourself these questions:

How does this notation REFLECT the three Great Bands of Man?

Why do each of the first and second lines add up to 45? 4 + 5 = 9, Completion?

Why does the third line add up to 36? 3 + 6 = 9, also Completion?

Why does the English language have 26 letters in its alphabet? 2 + 6 = 8?

Why is the THIRD line not "complete?" Why does it "end" on the number 8?

What is the significance of the number 8 in numerology?
